As a lifelong entrepreneur with 35 years of experience, I made the decision to go into business for myself to sustain a healthy lifestyle for me and my son. I made this decision way before the entrepreneur title was trendy, especially in a male-dominated field. I began this journey, without the benefits of the internet, social media, and other technologies that we have today. I started my business the hard way. The hard way was so hard due to my difficult, unexpected, and ugly experiences. I acquired expertise on my journey, and I was compelled to write my books about the good, bad, and ugly in life. The book details how I started a business, and how you can as well if this is your calling. I feel that in today’s environment, to get started, as an entrepreneur is easier than ever, well, easier than ever is a stretch; however, the title of a true entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart.
To start a business, and to be successful in business are different. While technology certainly helps, you still need to have solid business acumen and ethics. These attributes are what I convey to the readers of my book. My book contains a ton of information for the dreamers, would-be business owners, the novice owners, and the pros — advice for each.
The second book on adversity; to release soon, is a more personal, tearful, gut-wrenching story; a path forced upon me that I had to endure growing up, to become the person I am today. Stay tuned to this website for updates on the release date of my second book.
